Assistant Principal Alicia Gresham

Ms. Alicia Gresham proudly serves as the Assistant Principal at Rosa Taylor Elementary School. With over 15 years as an educator, she believes in leading with empathy, making data-informed decisions that promote student achievement, and building positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community.
Ms. Gresham earned her bachelor's degree from Georgia Southern University, and her master’s, specialist, and Tier 1 Educational Leadership certification from Valdosta State University. She also holds endorsements in ESOL, Gifted, Reading, Math, and PBIS. In addition, she is certified in the Orton-Gillingham Science of Reading and is Mindset certified, which reflects her commitment to both academic and social-emotional learning.
She began her teaching career in Bibb County and later taught in Clarke County before joining Houston County. Ms. Gresham has previously taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. At Pearl Stephens Elementary, she worked as an Early Intervention Program (EIP) Teacher for Reading and Math, served as PBIS Coach, and was an active member of the Leadership and MTSS Teams. Under her leadership, the school was recognized as a Distinguished PBIS School by the Georgia Department of Education. In 2018, she was named Pearl Stephens Elementary’s Teacher of the Year.
Outside of school, Ms. Gresham enjoys spending time with her two sons. As a family, they love sporting events, traveling, and fine dining experiences together. She is honored to serve the Rosa Taylor community and looks forward to continuing its tradition of excellence.
